Is Sanjay Suvarna really a Senior Citizen? Or is he lying about his age?

1)      In an NC (# 1498/11 dated 12-5-2011) against Sanjay Suvarna by a resident of Sindhi Colony, Sanjay Suvarna mentioned his age as 64, and the police personnel that wrote the complaint on the resident’s behalf duly recorded it as so on the NC. On the same day, Sanjay Suvarna had also filed an NC against the resident.

2)      In our verbal conversations on the ground we have encountered several police personnel mention the senior citizen status of Sanjay Suvarna being an impediment for the Worli Police Station to take action against Sanjay Suvarna.

3)      We wish to bring forth before you the copy of the Ration Card of Sanjay Suvarna. This copy was filed as part of evidence in the Bombay City Civil Court, LC Suit No. 1206 of 2010. By virtue of being filed before a court the Sanjay Suvarna’s Ration Card copy could be procured by us.

4)      The Ration Card copy mentions the date of issue as 28 March, 2007. The age is also mentioned in this document as 52 (in Marathi). Another copy of an inside page of the Ration Card also once again mentions the age as 52 (in Marathi again).

5)      We would like to put on record that we cannot verify or un-verify the authenticity of this document – this was procured to us, once again, from the Bombay City Civil Court.

6)      In view of the disruptive activities of Sanjay Suvarna and his constant harassment, abusing and intimidation of residents, and his subsequent hiding behind the safety of being a senior citizen, we feel it would be worthwhile to bring this discrepancy to your notice.

7)      Any further action in this regard would be solely your prerogative.
